-
WollongongArrive at Mount Keira Lookout. Spend about 45 minutes here enjoying panoramic views of Wollongong, the coastline, and the Illawarra Escarpment. Take a short nature walk to appreciate the local flora and fauna. The drive to Mount Kiera lookout is roughly 1.5 hours. We sometimes stop along the way.
-
Carrington FallsTake a short walk (a 300m return trip) to see Carrington Falls, where the water plummets 90 metres to the valley below. The drive to Carrington Falls takes roughly 1 hour.
-
Fitzroy FallsExplore Fitzroy Falls in Morton National Park. Spend around 1.5 hours here. Walk along the well-maintained trails to the viewing platforms to see the spectacular waterfall plunging over 80 meters into the valley. Look out for native wildlife, including birds and possibly some wallabies. The drive to Fitzroy Falls takes roughly 30 minutes.
-
Hampden BridgeExplore Hampden Bridge which is Australia's sole remaining wooden suspension bridge. Since it was first built in 1895, this bridge has endured because to its distinctive style and minute features. Photographers may snap breathtaking views of the nearby Kangaroo Valley from the bridge. The drive to Hampden Bridge takes 15 minutes.
-
Kangaroo ValleyFind wombats and kangaroos. Spend about 1.5 hours observing these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. This is one of the best places in NSW to see wombats during the day. It's worth noting that these are wild animals so we can't guarantee a sighting, but so far on every tour we have seen either wombats or kangaroos (usually both!). This is a good opportunity to get a photo with them - but remember to keep your distance and not to pat them. The drive to our wombat viewing area is roughly 10 minutes. The drive back to Sydney is roughly 2 hours.
