Great Limestone Cave of Hida and Ohashi Collection MuseumHida Great Stalactite Cave (Hida Great Stalactite Cave) was formed about 250 million years ago. With an overall elevation of 900 meters, it is the highest tourist stalactite cave in Japan. You can see many stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is lit up, which adds a magical atmosphere. The Hida Great Stalactite Cave is divided into three areas, connected sequentially from Cave 1 to Cave 3. Each area has an exit, but the section after Exit 2 is a steep slope. It is recommended that visitors with weaker stamina or who are not confident in their physical abilities exit from Exit 1 or 2.
