Jeep rides lead you up the Quebrada Bonita path to Cuchillón, where a stunning waterfall awaits among native forests and rocky landscapes. The adventure involves challenging treks and breathtaking geological formations.
- 🚙 A 30-minute Jeep ascent takes you to Cuchillón, setting the stage for your trek.
- 🌊 Walk through native forests to the Angel Salt waterfall, which towers over 50 meters high.
- 🗻 Descend through two ravines to reach the Sanctuary of Los Guácharos, featuring beautiful caves and water falls.
- 🏞️ Climb through meadows to see the Golden Wells, a series of waterfalls culminating at La Escalera waterfall.
- ⚠️ This activity has a difficulty rating of 5/5 (very demanding) and includes a total duration of 6.5 hours with a 5-hour walking segment.
To ensure safety, participants should be prepared for high altitudes (1800-2100 meters) and temperatures ranging from 16-19°C.

La Cueva de los GuacharosThe tour begins by Jeep for 30 minutes on an ascent along the Quebrada Bonita trail to Cuchillón, where it begins walking through a native forest to Angel Falls, an imposing waterfall of more than 50 meters high in the middle of rocks and vegetation. . Then, you continue descending and crossing two streams until you reach the Sanctuary of Los Guácharos, from there it is possible to appreciate the beautiful geological formation of caves and a powerful waterfall. Later, we ascend the mountain, passing through meadows to the Pozos Dorados (sequence of waterfalls) and we finish at the La Escalera waterfall, to return again by Jeep.
