Return details
Termination of flight-only and flight-with-cave-breakfast packages end at our facility after the balloon flight. For breakfast you are given a ticket and instructions to get to the restaurant.
Due to the excessive traffic of Mexico City, for all-inclusive packages and round trip flight, the return ends at the Angel of Independence. ONLY APPLIES for All inclusive packages and round trip flight.

Mexico CityDepending on the season of the year pick up time could be 4:00am. During pick up we recommend punctuality because hot air balloon rides have a specific take off itinerary. We recommend to nap during your trip to San Martin de las Piramides where you will find the take off area.

From the take off area , at your arrival you will be able to see the Sun Pyramid from the distance, you need to fill your passenger registration format, enjoy coffee with cookies on the side. You’ll be assigned to a specific balloon to be able to ride with your group, consider bag packs are not allowed and during morning we are usually cold, bring a big jacket.

After you balloon flight you will be taken to restaurant la Gruta or Restaurant La cave (the restaurant selection will depend on availability), both natural caves restaurants to enjoy breakfast and an amazing view. Remember to take a photo by the entrance with your group. You can have coffee or tea, and you’ll need to choose 1 of the following dishes. Omellette, Chilaquiles with or without meat, , we also have vegan option. In case you want a different dish from Menu, plate will have to be paid separately.

After your breakfast you will be taken to enjoy a liquor tasting from the area and a brief demonstration of the craft workshops, considering volcanic rock (obsidian), color in textile crafts

Piramides De TeotihuacanDuring your access to archeological zone, a certified guide by the tourism department of Mexico, with spanish as a native language and english as a second language, will give you the pyramids tour, with historical and official records. Your access to archeological zone is included only if you buy the all inclusive package.

When you select all inclusive package you’ll be taken back to Mexico City with the drop off in the angel of independence due to Mexico City traffic
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
