Bengaluru auto-rickshaw tour
Overview
An incredible day awaits you today, as you explore the two sides of Bangalore – colonial and the local. During this tour, you will be doing quite a bit of your commute aboard an auto rickshaw – an inherent element of India’s public transportation system. Some trivia here – the man who designed Vespa, also designed auto rickshaws, known as tuk-tuks across South East Asia. During this joyride, you will pass through different neighbourhoods and landmarks, including local markets, by parks, churches and temples. Also visit the church, where the Late Winston Churchill offered prayers, and soak in the colours and scents at the old City Market. While riding the auto rickshaw, you will inevitably ponder about the life of your driver, as he is likely to regale you with amusing anecdotes – usually, they appear to be joyful and colourful folks. Even movies have been made on them.
