Gatun LakeThe Monkey Island tour starts early in the morning, usually between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m., with direct pickup from your hotel in Panama City.

Mercado de AbastosAccompanied by a local guide or agricultural expert, you'll begin a tour through the market aisles, where the air is filled with the sweet, fresh aroma of recently harvested tropical fruits. Among piles of papayas, mangoes, bananas, and passion fruit, the star of the day will be the Panamanian pineapple, internationally renowned for its intensely sweet flavor, juicy texture, and floral aroma. The most anticipated part comes with the tasting: fresh pineapple slices served directly by the producers or vendors, at room temperature or slightly chilled, highlighting the quality of this national fruit.
