With its narrow tunnels, ancient stone doors and multi level rooms this city once sheltered thousands of people during invasions. You'll walk through living spaces, kitchens, storage rooms and even a church all carved deep into the earth.

It's named after the thousands of tiny pigeon houses carved directly into its cliffs by locals in the past. Originally built in 1849 this beautiful building was repurposed as a prison between 1950 and 1983.
