Hosted by a Distillery Ambassador, you'll sample four stunning single cask whiskies chosen for you from the warehouses of our sister distillery in Speyside. You'll then take on the role of the Whisky Maker and learn how to combine and blend these flavours to create your own single malt whisky. A unique creation, which you'll bottle at 200cl to take home, complete with wax seal and label.

You can enter the distillery through the gate at the foot of the tall brick chimney with the letters '1840' painted on it. At the end of the corridor you will see a glass door leading to our Admissions Desk. The staff member there will be expecting you.

'The Residency: Tamdhu' offers unique, behind-the-scenes insight into the world of the whisky maker. This was the most sought-after ticket at the world-famous 'Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival' and we’ve moved it, lock, stock and four outstanding casks, 163-miles south to our award-winning sister distillery, just 30-minutes by train from Edinburgh Waverley and 20-minutes from Glasgow Queen Street.
This is a 90-minute whisky experience which includes a short tour of the distillery, followed by an exciting, hands-on activity where you'll produce your very own bottle of single malt whisky to take home.
You'll sample four single cask whiskies handpicked from our warehouses in Speyside.
