Leif Erickson TrailRide along the stunning Leif Erikson trail that spans 11 miles through Forest Park. A bed of adventurous fast, flowy gravel awaits on the former fire lane. Epic views of Portland and the Willamette River can be seen through glimpses in the trees.
- With its 1,207-foot span suspended between soaring, seemingly delicate, Gothic arch towers of steel the bridge is quite impressive. It was the longest suspension-type bridge west of the Mississippi River when it was completed in 1931. Long heralded as the nautical entrance to Portland.
