Your journey begins at the Museum of Occupation and Freedom Fights, where our guide will take you through powerful stories of Lithuania’s partisans and the struggle for independence. From there, we’ll travel through the Soviet-era neighborhood of Karoliniškės, a district tied to the dramatic events of January 1991to a shooting range, where you’ll have the rare chance to try authentic Forest Brother–era weapons under supervision. Finally, we finish at Lukiškės Prison, today a vibrant cultural hub, where you’ll be free to explore its historic grounds and optionally enjoy a meal.

Museum of Occupations and Freedom StrugglesOur accredited local guide will welcome you at the Museum of Occupation and Freedom Fights, where you’ll uncover the powerful stories of Lithuania’s partisans and their struggle for independence.
- As we pass through the Soviet-era neighborhood of Karoliniškės, you’ll gain insight into Lithuania’s later fight for independence under Soviet rule and the courageous freedom efforts of January 1991. (pass by)

At the shooting range, you will experience firing live weaponry from the era of the partisan resistance forest brothers, including: MP38/40 submachine gun - 10 shots; Submachine gun PPSH41 - 10 shots; PPS43 submachine gun - 10 shots; Mosin KO44 carbine - 5 shots.
