It owes its name to the monk seal that, it is said, ‘stole’ the catch from the nets of fishermen from Ponza, hence it was called the ‘Mariolo’ (thief).

Cala BirialaCala Biriala is a pretty little cove of landslide origin that lies at the foot of the limestone cliff. The beach is made up of white pebbles with rounded edges: the turquoise waters around it are responsible for this slow and incredible work.

Torre di Santa Maria NavarreseThe tour will start from the port of this Ogliastra village. During the navigation you can admire the various peculiarities of the coast including Cala Goloritzè.
