Discover the Northern part of the Rhône Valley, renowned for its exceptional wines.
You will depart from Lyon in the morning and head south toward the prestigious Côte-Rôtie vineyards. You will immediately be seduced by the magnificent view of the Rhône Valley and the steep hillsides of the vineyards.
Delight your taste buds with five or six different wine varieties. Among them, you will taste Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie AOC. During the tasting, you will appreciate the considerable aromatic richness of these great wines.
Your guide will be happy to show you the best local restaurants. After some free time for lunch, you will continue south toward the legendary vines of the Hermitage. Cultivated on the left banks of the Rhône in a very special terroir. The wines produced here require high temperatures to get their particular red fruit and wildflower aromas.
Then, enjoy a breathtaking view over the vineyards and the Rhône River from the belvedere on the Hermitage Hill. Afterward, you will reach another local winery and taste five or six different Côtes du Rhône wine varieties. Among them, you will find excellent AOCs: Hermitage and Croze-Hermitage.
