Himeji CastleHimeji Castle, aka the White Heron Castle for its color, is a Japanese fortified castle. It dates from medieval times and is one of only 12 Japanese castles to have been perfectly preserved. UNESCO has also designated this castle a World Heritage Site. It’s beautiful! And now it is open to our visits.
