  • Meet your local guide at Akihabara Station. After introductions, we will take the train together toward Nakayama Racecourse. Enjoy a short and easy ride to the racecourse while learning the basics of Japanese horse racing and how local fans enjoy the sport. (pass by)
  • Upon arrival, your guide will assist with ticket arrangements and provide an orientation of the racecourse, including seating areas, food stalls, and betting machine zones. You will see the horses up close in the paddock before each race. The guide will explain how to read the paddock board and what local fans observe when evaluating horses. You will experience live races among passionate Japanese fans, learning how the race structure works and how odds are displayed and interpreted. Your guide will teach you how to use Japanese betting machines, and you will have the opportunity to place your own bets safely and independently. Between races, you may try classic Japanese racecourse foods, such as yakitori, curry, or local drinks, at your own pace. After enjoying several races and experiencing the atmosphere of Japanese horse racing culture, we will head back to Akihabara Station together, where the tour concludes.
