Yongmeori Coast is a volcanic beach made of ash emitted during violent explosions occurring when hot magna coming from underground met the cold seawater. Going down the narrow path to the beach, you can also see a sandstone cliff. Its name, Yongmeori (it literally means a dragon’s head) comes from its resemblance to a dragon appearing ready to plunge deep into the sea. Sanbangsan MountainSanbangsan, rising to a height of 395 meters is a typical dome-shaped, craterless volcano. Its name, Sanbang, originates from a natural stone cave formed in the middle of the mountain. Inside the cave, called Sanbanggulsa Temple, there is a statue of the Buddha. According to a legend, water drops from the cave ceiling are the tears of love shed by the goddess who protects Sanbangsan’s stone walls.

Cheonjeyeon FallsCheonjeyeon Falls, named "The Pond of God," consists of 3 sections. Around the falls, a variety of plant life thrives, such as the rare ‘solimnan’ reeds. To the east, there is a cave where cold water pours from the ceiling to create the first waterfall. The water gathers into a pool and from there, falls two more times, creating the second and third waterfalls, which then flow into the sea.

Handam Coastal Trail is a short walking path along the west coast of Jeju. It starts at Handam Village and ends at Gwakji Beach. It’s a scenic route that takes you along the rocky coastline and provides great views out over the sea. It’s long been a popular spot for walkers, but more recently, the coffee shops and restaurants that line the route have attracted the island’s foodies.

Camellia HillLocated in Sangchang Village, Andeok-myeon, the 20-hectare park holds some 6,000 camellia trees and over 500 different species of wildflowers, trees and other plants, like hydrangeas. It’s about an hour by bus to the southwest of Jeju City.

Isidore FarmIsidore Farm is located in the mid-mountain range of Geumak Village, Hallim-eup. Walk for a few minutes and you will see a Cteshphon house, the only one of its kind in South Korea. The architecture style is of Ctesiphon, a city near Baghdad, Iraq. It is a unique place for taking pictures, especially for wedding photos on Jeju.
