In ancient times, these grounds were part of the Villa of Domitian, an imposing residence of the first century Roman emperor. Today, the gardens have been meticulously restored and cared for, offering a tour among fountains, statues and a variety of Mediterranean flora.
During the walk through the gardens, we marvel at its panoramic terraces that offer spectacular views of Lake Albano and the surrounding area.
