Your journey begins at Porto no Suke Bridge, where you'll learn about Sakai's importance as a trade hub during the Edo period. A short walk takes you to Xavier Park, where you'll discover the story of the European missionaries, including Francis Xavier, who visited Japan in the 16th century.
You’ll visit Sakai Tōji, renowned for its traditional blade-making. Here, you'll experience knife handle fitting and taking back engraved your own personalized blade.
Afterwards, enjoy a delicious multi-course lunch at "Ume-no-Hana," a restaurant known for its seasonal kaiseki cuisine, with vegan options available.
