Lunch and Shanga workshop visit by the Kilimanjaro
Overview
Shanga River House is an organization that teaches and supports the local disabled who make beautiful souvenirs ranging from glass jewellery [great way to recycle] to fabric products like elephant pillows and bags. They also partner with other local designers/organizations that help the local community and wildlife. Shanga is simply amazing. People with disabilities, some who might otherwise be tossed away or ignored by society, are empowered through art, and they make some beautiful things on-site using recycled materials.
Following a sumptuous hot lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge, you then have an opportunity to see the Shanga Workshop where disabled Tanzanians create some spectacular arts and crafts. These items are also available for sale at the shop located on site.
When giving as a gift, your recipient can choose a date at their convenience during a booking process. Otherwise, you can choose one after checkout and voucher redemption.
