The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five stunning marble and limestone peaks, each named after one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. As you ascend the stone steps carved into the mountains, you'll discover a serene Buddhist pagoda and breathtaking caves, along with beautiful panoramic views from the mountaintop. One notable site is Am Phu Cave, which features a captivating replica of “Heaven and Hell,” offering a unique glimpse into Buddhist beliefs about the afterlife.
At the foot of the Marble Mountains lies Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, a unique craft village renowned for its marble sculptures. With a history spanning over 200 years, this village showcases the artistry and skill of local sculptors who create stunning marble products.
Next, you'll journey north to the Son Tra Peninsula, which rises 693 meters above sea level and is located just 10 kilometres northeast of Da Nang City. Here, you'll visit the magnificent Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda, known for its impressive Lady Buddha statue, one of the tallest in Vietnam. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city, the peninsula, and the Marble Mountains, creating an unforgettable and unique impression.
