Overview
Learn mountaineering with this workshop. Follow and complete the two modules equipment & rehearsal and the theory module. In the first module you will learn different ice axe and crampons techniques. You will practice jumar ascenders, self-arrest and basic rope management.
The second theory module will cover acute mountains sickness and how you can prevent it. You will learn about the weather in the mountains, nutrition and hydration and the different types of clothing and equipment you need. And one of the most important things you need to know, the dangers in the mountains and how you can avoid the dangers.

- Two mountaineering workshop modules: equipment & rehearsal module and theory module
- Different techniques: the use of ice axes, crampons, jumar ascenders, harness, gaiters, how to function as a rope team member
