With a small group of 6 riders. We will start pedaling 20 minutes to leave the city and then face a 400 m road ascent to the top of Monte Albán (approximately 40 min). Upstairs we will rest, eat a snack and have the option to enter the archaeological site (entrance NOT included, approx. 50 min), with spectacular views and vestiges of an ancestral culture that lives on in Oaxaca.
Then start the action with a descent through dirt trails of medium/advanced difficulty : fast sections, loose rock and technical sections between agaves and trees for about 40 minutes, until we reach a local store to resupply.

Then we will climb the last 200 m by road to the middle of the mountain of Atzompa (No ruins are visited), where the final and longest descent begins by fluid singletracks to a hidden natural spring that originates in the mountain and then to the historic center of Oaxaca de Juárez. We will end up passing through the Oaxaca Railway Station, surrounded by art, culture and colors.

During the hot season: March-May, you can start in cooler hours (7 am), ideal for arriving for brunch.
