Overview
Fewer visitors. Compared to the popular and crowded Badaling Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall is not too crowded and is relatively quiet. There are 3 types of visitors here: foreigners, children and others. There are very few tour groups here, mostly local tourists. If you don't like too many people, you can choose to come to the Mutianyu Great Wall.
Take a bus from downtown Beijing directly to the scenic spot, no need to worry about the longer trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu and the complicated transportation transfer in Beijing.

The bus will drop you off at west gate of Water Cube(Beijing 2008 Olympic Swimming Centre, aka National Aquatics Centre）

Mutianyu Great WallThe bus will arrive at the Great Wall VIP parkingspace at 10:30am , the tour guide will lead you to the entrance by a few mins walking, use your IDs or Passports to pass the entrance. The Mutianyu has three lines, you can choose to hike or take the cable car(cable car tickets is not included). Three routes for your reference, free to choose, does not include cable car and ropeway fees, if necessary, you can find the guide to buy.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
