Launched in late 2017, Al Seef celebrates Dubai Creek’s beginnings as a coastal pearl diving base. Hugging 1.8km of Dubai Creek’s shoreline, the 2.5 million square foot development has two sections – a heritage area featuring old architecture, and a second space featuring more contemporary structures. Once a vibrant entryway to the Gulf’s most successful pearl diving port, the Creek’s historic presence can still be felt today here, with fisherman and merchants criss-crossing the calm waters in dhow boats as part of their daily routine. The best way to take it all in is to embark on a cultural walking tour of Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, before wandering over to Al Seef and exploring its charming walkways, fully-operational marina, dining boulevard and events plaza on foot.

Situated adjacent to Dubai Creek, Al Shindagha is a historical district in Bur Dubai. It borders Port Rashid on one side and Al Fahidi on the other. Since it lies alongside Al Khaleej Road (D92), it is close to the Shindagha Tunnel, which connects the Deira and Bur Dubai neighbourhoods. The historical district is known for housing the former residence of the ruling family, which is now the Shindagha Museum. Additionally, it is made up of many other museums, heritage sites as well as City Centre Shindagha.

This is known as Blue Mosque. The Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque is a mosque located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mosque is named after Umar bin Al Khattab, a companion of the Prophet Mohammed who became the second Caliph after Abu Bakr and was given the title Al Farooq, meaning someone who distinguished truth from falsehood. The original Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque was established on the same site in 1986.

Zabeel Palace is the home of Shaikh Rashid, UAE’s former prime minister. It is constructed in the Zabeel area, which was formerly just bare land covered with sand. Today, it is surrounded by all the glitzy buildings that make up the skyline of Dubai. Another Zabeel Palace has also cropped up in the vicinity, but it is the old palace that is full of charms. This palace was constructed sometime in the 1960s and was used as a residence till the 90s. The design of this palace is the idea of Otto Bulart who also designed the Clock Tower in Dubai.
