Kashmere gate was original gates of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s mid-17th century imperial capital Shahjahanabad (presently OLD Delhi). The gate was located close to river Yamuna and the region around it became a site of recreational gardens and country houses built by the members of the royal family and courtiers. This area is full of Heritage buildings, British era Churches, cemeteries & Mughal Era Mosques. At the end we will also be taking you the usual old Delhi for a photo stop.
