Portici Royal Palace private tour

The Royal Palace in Portici was built in 1738 at the behest of the King of Naples, Charles of Bourbon, and his wife, Amalia of Saxony, who was fascinated by the landscapes of the South.

Today, the seat of the "Federico II" Agricultural University of Naples was one of the first buildings that Charles of Bourbon began to build once the crown of Naples was acquired.
