- We’ll visit Meiji Shrine, a peaceful shinto shrine surrounded by forest in the middle of downtown Tokyo. Afterwards, we’ll stroll along Takeshita Street, famous for its eccentric desserts, colorful clothes, and animal cafes. (pass by)
- Shibuya is known for the iconic Shibuya Scramble, the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing. Nearby, we’ll see the famous Hachiko statue and explore the streets filled with shops and restaurants. (pass by)
- Asakusa is home to Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple. We’ll experience local customs and traditions that are practiced here. We’ll also stroll along Nakamise Shopping Street, a lively street with traditional snacks, crafts, and souvenirs. (pass by)
- Tsukiji was once the largest fish market in the world and still draws visitors for its vibrant market. Here you can sample fresh sushi, grilled skewers, and other popular Japanese foods. (pass by)
- Ginza is the hub for luxury shopping and modern architecture. You can find flagship stores, fine dining, and art galleries. It’s also a great place to shop for high-quality Japanese gifts. (pass by)
- Shinjuku is a lively district packed with dining and shopping. Highlights include the giant Godzilla head, the 3D cat billboard, and the free observation deck at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. - Shimokitazawa, also known as Tokyo’s bohemian district, is a youthful neighborhood filled with vintage and boutique shops. The area has a creative scene, with live music venues, small theaters, and cozy cafes that give it an artistic, relaxed vibe. (pass by)
- Imperial Palace is the current residence of Japan’s Imperial family. It is built on the former site of Edo Castle, once home of the Tokugawa shoguns (1603–1868), the rulers of the country. While the original castle was lost in a fire in 1657, today you can see impressive gates, stone walls, and the beautiful Japanese garden that is open to the public. (pass by)
