Hector Pieterson Museum and MemorialThereafter we make way to Hector Peterson Museum, honoring the Soweto Uprisings on 16 June 1976. Those hundreds of children and youth lost their lives while protesting against the Apartheid education system.

Vilakazi StreetProceed to Vilakazi Street a well-known street for local restaurants and home to two Nobel-Prize winners, to visit Mandela House and Desmond Tutu House.

Walter Sisulu SquareAfter an experience at Vilakazi Street, we continue to Kliptown passing through Maponya Mall named after Soweto’s big businessman Richard Maponya. Visit the local informal settlements of Kliptown where our local representative Nkuli the owner of a shelter named The Shark. Guests will be guided through the local area and interacting with the locals sharing their stories and Africa Beer.
