Temple of PoseidonAt the southernmost point of the Peninsula of Athens we come to the Temple of Poseidon. Located 70 meters on a clifftop this amazing temple was dedicated to the God Poseidon. It was the last thing Ancient sailors saw on leaving port & the first site on return with many legends to learn.

Ancient Theater of ThorikosThe Ancient Theatre of Thorikos built around 525 BC (around 2500 years ago) is the oldest known theatre in the world but lies almost forgotten & a short drive from the more famous Temple of Poseidon. Without guards or fences one can just walk into this site & imagine the performances that once graced its stage with the backdrop of the Aegean sea in the distance.
