Stand up paddleboarding is fun, safe and all age groups and fitness levels can enjoy it. During this Taster Session you’ll learn the basics of standing on the board, paddling forward and turning.
You'll be standing up and paddling by the end of the session.

The main thing you need to progress in Stand Up Paddling is a great location and great instruction. Sam, your instructor, has been teaching water sports for the last 20 years and is a highly qualified and experienced coach.
Our location is perfect, in that the water stays flat and wind free in a huge range of conditions whilst offering fantastic views.

We'll meet near the Marina car park, please don't park in the car park itself, there's plenty of parking just outside. To find me head to the top of the driveway leading into the parking and at the junction turn left, I'll be in a blue, camouflaged VW, with a few boards outside.

We'll meet near the Marina car park, please don't park in the car park itself, there's plenty of parking just outside. To find me head to the top of the driveway leading into the parking and at the junction turn left, I'll be in a blue, camouflaged VW, with a few boards outside.
We'll run through all the basics of Stand Up Paddling, starting with how to put your wetsuit on, blow up your board and hold your paddle. We'll take you through standing up on the board, paddling in a straight line and turning the board. We cover all relevant safety points through out so you leave us not just hooked and ready for more but with the confidence to actually go paddling.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
