GarveOur first stop of the day is a quintessential Highland scene! The Black Water cascades down and under the 300 year old Silver Bridge. This is a great photo stop!

Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature ReserveWe stop for a 45 min walk down to the gorge and past beautiful water cascades, Silver Birch and Scots Pine and over the Victorian suspension bridge for some amazing views over the box canyon, as you learn about the area, nature and the man who gifted this special place to the public!

UllapoolOur next stop allows us to look back from where we have travelled from and back up Loch Broom. A glorious view awaits as well as an opportunity to browse some local shops and grab a coffee.

Knockan Crag National Nature ReserveOur 2nd walk of the day allows us to climb this ancient rock for amazing views over Sutherland. Form here, you struggle to see a single house! A fair degree of fitness is required for this walk. Alternatively, you can take the shorter walk, sit and enjoy the views towards the mountains

LochinverOur lunch stop for the day is in the quaint fishing village of Lochinver. Here you can pick up a pie from the famous Lochinver Larder as we leave to find a quiet picnic spot by an ancient castle

Ardvreck CastleAt the foot of Ardvreck Castle, we can enjoy our picnic lunch from Lochinver and explore the ruins while learning about the notorious history of past owners.

The Bone CavesOur main hike of the day (optional) is up the lonely glen, following the pretty crystal clear stream to the Bone caves. Here, we will see springs, learn about what creatures have used these ancient caves and take in the wonderful silence and views. If we are lucky, we may catch a glimpse of a Golden Eagle or Red Deer!
