All entrance tickets must be issued in the visitor’s name. Please make sure that the name entered during booking matches the visitor’s valid ID or passport.

If the name on the ticket does not match the visitor’s ID or passport, Vatican staff may consider the ticket invalid and refuse admission. Name corrections are not always possible after booking.

All visitors must pass mandatory airport-style security checks before entering the Vatican Museums. Waiting times may vary depending on Vatican security procedures and crowd levels.

Reserved entry helps organize access to the Vatican Museums, but it does not bypass the mandatory Vatican security screening required for all visitors.

A respectful dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women. Visitors who do not comply with the dress code may be refused entry by Vatican staff.

Children aged 0 to 6 can join free of charge. Please include them in the booking so the group details are complete.

Visitors with a certified disability of more than 74% may be entitled to free admission by presenting a valid ID/passport and official disability documentation.

This tour is not wheelchair accessible due to the standard visitor route inside the Vatican Museums, which may include areas that are difficult to access with a wheelchair.

The itinerary may vary slightly due to Vatican crowd control, security procedures, special events, route changes or partial closures. In these cases, the guide will adapt the visit to offer the best possible experience.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and travelling light, as the Vatican Museums are large and the visit involves walking through busy museum areas.

Large bags, suitcases, oversized backpacks and items considered unsuitable by Vatican security are not allowed inside. We recommend bringing only small personal belongings.

Visitors with disabilities and one accompanying person receive free admission to the Vatican Museums and therefore cannot participate in this tour.
