Volcanoes National ParkOur driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Kigali at 04h15 am, short briefing about your tour and then drive to Volcanoes National Park in northwest Rwanda (the drive lasts 2 hours). On arrival, proceed to the park's headquarters for registration and briefing. Your drive guide will assist and facilitate in all process at park's headquarters. Your driver guide will then transfer to the start point of your guided walk that begins around 08h300 am. The tracking usually takes between 45 minutes to 4 hours, once you come to the habituated families, you will spend the allowed one hour with the golden monkeys as they go about their daily life. There are two habituated groups of golden monkeys, one group comprises around 80 to 100 members and has its home at the foot of Mount Sabyinyo. Golden monkey characterized by its bright golden body, cheeks and tail, these playful primates are a pleasure to watch.
