We begin the adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. As we travel west through the plains and hills, we pass through the quiet town of Chichaoua, then enter the Argan tree region, unique to this part of the world. Keep your eyes open you may see goats perched in the argan trees, feeding on the fruit in a scene that feels almost surreal! Our next stop is a women run argan oil cooperative, where you’ll learn about the traditional methods used to produce culinary and cosmetic argan oil, often called “Moroccan gold.
