Overview
From Chiang Mai, discover the authentic rural life of northern Thailand in two beautiful valleys located north of the city. First, you'll explore the Chiang Dao valley, offering stunning views of Thailand’s third-highest peak, caves and Buddhist sanctuary. Hike on a trail linking two hill-tribe villages and visit a local family. The second day you'll hike the Mae Taeng highlands on forestry trails offering scenic views of the valley below. Have lunch at a local house and get to taste locally grown tea or coffee. On both days, you'll hike in different regions, offering a better approach of the nature and culture.
