Burana Tower and Konorchek CanyonThe Burana Tower is an 11th-century minaret near Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, once part of the ancient Silk Road city Balasagun. Originally 45 meters tall, it now stands at 25 meters due to earthquake damage. In 2014, it was inscribed as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang’an–Tianshan Corridor," recognizing its historical and cultural significance. The site also includes ancient mausoleums, balbals (stone grave markers), and city ruins.

Konorchek CanyonsThe Konorchek Canyons are striking red sandstone formations located in the Boom Gorge of Kyrgyzstan, about 125 km from Bishkek. Known for their dramatic cliffs, narrow passages, and unique shapes, they are often called “Kyrgyzstan’s Grand Canyon.” The area is popular for hiking and photography, offering stunning views shaped by millions of years of wind and water erosion.
