The walk is 3 kilometers (=1.8 US miles) and we pass by all the most important and interesting places in Copenhagen. When the walk is over you can either go back to your hotel. Or you can go for a canal tour and a drink in Nyhavn. Or walk to Rosenborg Palace to see the Crown Jewels. Whatever you want to do, the guide will suggest a route and provide you with a map so you can get the most out of your day also after the walk.

Christiansborg SlotThe parlament of Denmark, the supreme court and the prime minister all reside in this huge palace. From this spot you will also have all the ministries, the central bank and many other interesting buildings pointed out. Copenhagen was founded here and the guide will tell the story.

The enormous brick building built i 1618 located in the harbour. We stop here for an elaboration of how the harbour served as navy base in the Renaissance

Copenhagen King's New SquareBeautiful square built in the Renaissance and surrounded by impressive buildings from the 1700s. The walk ends here and the guide will tell you how to get back or how to continue exploring the city by walking to Nyhav (New Harbour), The Royal Amalienborg Palace and The Little Mermaid.
