Overview
Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in Tanzania, spans an area of 30,200 km² and is located in the south of Tanzania. Mikumi National Park, established in 1964 and expanded in 1975, covers 3,230 square kilometers and is situated to the north of Nyerere National Park.
