The roundtrip distance of the tour is approximately 3.3 mi/5.3 km. There are 6-9 view points both ways of the tour. At each stop, we'll rest and learn about historical landmarks. During the jogging tour, we'll also perform a light exercise during this time. The stops are a great opportunity to take photos.
The tour meets by the central fountain in Franklin Square Park. We begin with a fun ice breaker and warm up. We then head to the Ben Franklin Bridge walkway where the tour begins. We conclude the tour where it began at the fountain. We finish with a cooldown and farewell.

Franklin SquareThis is where the tour begins. We'll do a brief ice breaker and warm up. We'll learn about the history of Franklin Square Park and its contribution to the city of Philadelphia.
- Our first sightseeing rest stop. We will enjoy the view of the large, beautiful clock tower atop St. Augustine's from atop the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. We'll learn a brief history of both St. Augustine's as well as St. George's and their roles in the development of the Ben Franklin Bridge. (pass by)
- Another attraction that we'll view from atop the Ben Franklin Bridge. During this rest stop, we'll learn a brief history of Philadelphia's City Hall. (pass by)
- During this rest stop, we'll be able to view and learn about the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge (which connects Northeast Philadelphia to Palmyra, NJ) and its relation to the Ben Franklin Bridge. (pass by)
