Overview

Musical Prague Private Tour provided by a car or minivan takes 6 hours. We will pick you up at 9am in a lobby of the hotel you are staying in. We will show you  where world-class operas and concert works were born.We will follow in the steps of Antonín Dvořák,  Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bedřich Smetana and other famous musicians to the John Lennon Wall.

We will take you to the Strahov Monastery and Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.  Because in 1787 Mozart visited this place, accompanied by an opera singer and his friend Josefína Dušková. 

We will introduce you a Loretto church with a  famous carillon from the late 17th century, one of the last surviving instruments of this type.

We will show you a house which was used in a movie  Amadeus as his own house.

  • Nerudova
    This tour starts at 9am and takes 6 hours. We go by a private car or minivan. We will se many beautiful sights connected to the music. We will visit famous Nerudova street and House at the Three Fiddles.
  • We go inside of the top Barock Church of St.Nicholas from the 18th century located in the picturesque Little Town. It houses a unique organ built from 1745 till 1746. It was played during the requiem Mass for Mozart.
  • Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
    Ema Destinnová (1878-1930) world-famous Czech Opera singer who celebrated considerable success as the star of the Berlin State Opera and London´s Covent Garden. In New York´s Metropolitan Opera she shone alongside Enrico Caruso as his singing partner. We will see the house where she lived in a Little Town Square.
  • Lennonova zed
    John Lennon Wall - undoubtedly the most famous wall on Kampa Island, supporters of the hippie movement covered it with graffiti featuring romantic poetry, philosophical texts and images. After the death of John Lennon, it became a means of expressing dissatisfaction with the communist regime. In the garden of the convent of the Order of the Knights of Malta, hidden from public view behind the "Lennon Wall", grows what is allegedly the largest sycamore in Prague, sometimes also called Beethoven Sycamore. According to legend, the composer loved sitting under it during his visit to Prague.
  • Rudolfinum
    Rudolfinum where is located Dvořák Concert Hall is a fine Neo-Renaissance building set by the river. It hosts classical music concerts. Statue of Antonín Dvořák standing in front of the building was unveiled at the end of the Prague Spring Festival in 2000. He was one of the most respected and most played personalitiesin the world of Czech composers. He became a director of the U.S.National Conservatory in New York in 1892. 
  • Klementinum
    Klementinum is the largest, and one of the most historic complex of buildings in the Old Town founded in 1232. Concerts are held in the beautiful Mirror Chapel, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart once played the organ. 
  • Theatre Des Etats
    Estates Theatre, magnificent theatre building from 1783 was built in the empire and classical style. It is still preserved in nearly original condition. The theatre’s history is inseparable from the musical talent of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – in particular with the world premiere of his opera Don Giovanni, which is still included in the repertoire. 
  • Obecni Dum
    Municipal House is the city's foremost Art Nouveau building, and one of the finest in Europe. It houses the Smetana Concert Hall, the grandest concert hall in Prague, where the largest orchestras to play the city perform. We are gong to notice a Frédéric François Chopin bust, he was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist, who lived in Prague in 1829 and 1830.
  • The Singing Fountain located in the garden of the Summerhouse of Queen Ann is one of the most beautiful Renaissance fountains north of the Alps. Rays of water flowing from the fountain create sweet rhythmic sound of water falling on a resonating bronze plate.
  • Prague National Theater Opera
    The National Theatre (Czech: Národní divadlo) in Prague is known as the alma mater of Czech opera, and as the national monument of Czech history and art. The National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions, with a rich artistic tradition, which helped to preserve and develop the most important features of the nation–the Czech language and a sense for a Czech musical and dramatic way of thinking. Today the National Theatre consists of three artistic ensembles: opera, ballet and drama.
  • State Opera
    The State Opera (Czech: Státní opera), is an opera house in Prague, Czech Republic. It is part of the National Theatre of the Czech Republic, founded by Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in 1992. The theatre itself originally opened in 1888 as the New German Theatre and from 1949 to 1989 it was known as the Smetana Theatre. More recently it was renamed the Prague State Opera. Currently it is home to approximately 300 performances a year.
  • The Musical Theatre Karlín (Czech: Hudební divadlo Karlín) is a theatre in the Karlín district of Prague devoted largely to the performance of operettas and musical theatre. Built in 1881, it is now the second largest theatre in Prague after the Prague State Opera.
