You will meet our staff upon arrival from your international flight or at the hotel and our first site drive to Ethnological Museum houses anthropological, musicological and cultural objects. The Ethnological Museum is the first university museum in Ethiopia. The Museum is located in the main Campus of Addis Ababa University which houses the Institute of Ethiopian Studies and it was the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie.
Our Second site drive to Merkato, established by the Italians around 1937 it’s the largest open air market place in Africa, Covering several square miles and employing an estimated 13,000 people in 7,100 business entities.
After we buy important ingredients for food preparation we drive to one of our staff house
1. Ethiopia’s National food called Injera (Enjera) and eats with your fingers
2. Shiro is a delicious chickpea powder-based dish
3. Mesir wot is a delicious (and beautifully coloured) combination of split red lentils simmered in spicy berbere sauce.
4. Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony.
Finally, you will be transfer to airport for your departure or Hotel
