  • Airlie Beach
    Hotel collections begin prior to the tour starting at 10am. Be waiting outside your accommodation 10 minutes before the confirmed departure time. The drive to the Pinnacle Family Hotel takes approximately 2 hours through the Pioneer Valley.
  • Our first stop, here you’ll experience the world-famous Pinnacle Pie!
  • View the township and learn about its history. (pass by)
  • A quick stop in with a short walk to a hidden gem where you will get to experience a unique part nature.
  • Broken River
    Now the important part, here we will head to the viewing platform at Broken River. Completely wild platypuses move through the creek below. Sightings are very common but cannot be guaranteed.
  • Sky Window Lookout
    A lookout over the Pioneer Valley and surrounding ranges.
  • White Wine with Cheese and nibbles is served on the return journey. Arrives back in Airlie Beach at approximately 6:00 pm. (pass by)

  • The drive from Airlie Beach to the Pinnacle Family Hotel is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. The route includes further driving between stops. Plan for a day with time in the vehicle.
  • Eungella National Park sits at approximately 1,000 metres above sea level. Significantly cooler and wetter than Airlie Beach. A light jacket is essential, even in summer.
  • What to bring: light jacket (essential), comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, camera or phone.
  • Platypus sightings are very common at Broken River but cannot be guaranteed. Wildlife is completely wild. Follow your guide's instructions.
  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking.
  • Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Maximum 10 travellers per departure.
  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 guests to operate. If your departure does not meet the minimum, the operator will contact you to discuss alternative dates or a full refund.
  • No flash photography, no feeding animals, no loud noise near the viewing platform.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.
