AlmatyNext up we'll visit Aqqu, a vibrant local favorite hidden away from the main streets, where Almaty’s creative crowd gathers. We’ll savor the ultimate comfort food: tender bell peppers packed with a savory, juicy meat filling, slow-simmered in a rich tomato, carrot, and sour cream gravy.

Our third stop is Sandyq. To truly understand Kazakhstan, you must taste its nomadic roots. At this legendary local institution, you’ll enjoy the most famous Kazakh dish - Beshbarmak. Experience true Kazakh hospitality where the locals eat.

Kazakhstan is a beautiful melting pot of ethnicities that arrived during the Soviet era, each bringing their own culinary traditions—which is why our food culture is so incredibly diverse today. Here, we’ll try a traditional Ukrainian borsch. Packed with a rich beetroot broth and vitamins, this hearty soup has kept generations healthy. Honestly, Bitanga’s borsch might just be the most delicious soup you'll find in all of Kazakhstan.
