Aphrodite's RockPetra tou Romiou, also known as the Birthplace of Aphrodite is a beautiful coastal area and a popular tourist destination in Cyprus. According to Greek mythology, it was here that the goddess of love and beauty Aphrodite emerged from the sea foam. Homer called Aphrodite Cypris, the goddess of Cyprus, which is why Cyprus is called the island of love. The modern name of this place is Petra tou Romiou - "Roman's rock" is associated with another legend: the legendary Byzantine warrior Digenis Akritas, the hero of the Byzantine epic, repelling the Saracen raid on the island, threw pieces of rock from the Troodos Mountains at them. A huge boulder just beyond the rock of Aphrodite is called the "Saracen Rock".

Pano LefkaraThe village of Lefkara is the most famous among tourists, and also one of the most picturesque foothill ancient Cypriot villages. The architectural appearance of Lefkara has remained unchanged over the past few centuries. The village became famous due to its craftswomen - lace makers, a special technique of weaving lace is called Lefkaritika. In 1889, a lace school was opened in Lefkara, and the ancient lace technique was recognized as the heritage of Cyprus. In addition, the production of silver products is also widely known - jewelry and dishes, icon frames, made of solid silver and silver lace.

Limassol CityWe will head to the city of Limassol. Being in the center of the Old City, not far from the Old Port of Limassol, you can walk along the colorful, narrow streets, drink Cypriot coffee, buy memorable souvenirs, and visit a production shop selling natural sea sponge products, olive oil-based cosmetics and other interesting little things.

KourionKourion is a large ancient city-state of Cyprus, and today an archaeological park and archaeological site. During excavations, residential buildings from different eras with courtyards and magnificent floor mosaics were discovered, as well as Roman baths and religious buildings - a sanctuary of nymphs and a Christian basilica. The most grandiose building of the ancient city is a huge amphitheater, built in the 2nd century BC and designed for 3,500 spectators.
