PorkkalanniemiIn Porkkala our walk begins on a forest trail leading to an open-rock area which is the first display of the many diverse areas. This area will give us the opportunity to see what effects coastal weather has on the nearby forest. Shortly after, we find ourselves with a picturesque coastal view. There will be picnic tables to have a break and fill up on a prepared lunch with dessert. After some free-time exploration and lunch it is time to head back to civilization refreshed from this wholesome nature experience. -- In total, you will spend around 3 hours in the Porkkalaniemi nature reserve, including a 1-hour lunch break with free time to explore the nature, relax by the Baltic Sea, and discover the details of your surroundings. (Total walking distance is approx. 2.5–3 km.) With transportation, the total duration of this nature tour is 4.5–5 hours. Dedicated to sustainability, this tour proudly carries the Sustainable Travel Finland label and the Green Activities certificate.
