Your certified guide will overview rafting and safety procedures before you board the 6-passenger, self-bailing raft. Hear the thundering Athabasca Falls behind you as your raft joins the whitewater downstream, navigating the high rock walls of the Athabasca Canyon. Enjoy 8-9 sections of fun Class 2+ rapids before the river mellows, offering a chance to relax and take in views of the Canadian Rockies. Spot local wildlife on the shoreline of this pristine environment. All equipment, including paddles, wetsuits, neoprene booties, and paddle jackets, is supplied. Wear a swimsuit or a t-shirt and shorts, and be prepared to get wet. Bring dry clothes, a towel, and on cooler days, wool socks, a fleece, or a warm jacket.
