Step into a concealed artistic haven in Athens and uncover the ancient Greek craft of sculpturing through an engaging experience steeped in mythology and classical elegance.

In this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to mould your own sculpture from clay whilst learning techniques once associated with the renowned sculptors of yesteryears. The session kicks off with a brief introduction to the symbolism and significance of ancient Greek sculptures, particularly focusing on why facial expressions held such a pivotal role in temples, statues and mythology. You'll then be guided meticulously in crafting a sculpture inspired by Hermes, the guardian of travellers. No prior experience is required as the workshop is tailored for novices and art enthusiasts keen to unleash their creativity in a laid-back environment.

Throughout the workshop, you'll get to use authentic sculpturing tools, work with your hands akin to ancient artists and explore how sculpturing can become a medium for storytelling and self-expression.

Upon completion of the workshop, you're welcome to take home your handmade sculpture as a personal keepsake from Athens and capture images of your creations within the artistic space. This activity is ideal for travellers, couples, families or anyone seeking a distinctive cultural experience beyond the usual tourist attractions.
