Overview
Visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum on a fully organised day trip from Krakow. This experience combines comfortable transportation, convenient meeting points in the city centre, and a guided visit to one of the most important historical sites in Europe.

After meeting your driver in Krakow, you will travel to Oświęcim in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, you will join a guided tour led by a museum guide who will take you through Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, explaining the history of the camps during World War II.
During the visit, you will see original barracks, exhibitions, the famous “Arbeit macht frei” gate, and the remains of the gas chambers and crematoria in Birkenau.

Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-BirkenauAfter arriving at Auschwitz, you will be introduced to a licensed local museum guide who will lead your group through Auschwitz I. During the guided tour, you will learn about the history of the camp and the experiences of the people imprisoned there during World War II. You will walk through the preserved brick barracks, see original prisoner blocks, historical photographs, personal belongings of the victims, and exhibitions documenting the history of the camp. You will also see the famous “Arbeit macht frei” gate, one of the most recognizable symbols of the site, as well as the last remaining gas chamber and crematorium. BrzezinkaAfter arriving at Auschwitz II–Birkenau, you will meet the same licensed museum guide who will continue the tour through the second part of the former camp complex. Birkenau was the largest part of the Auschwitz system and the main site where mass deportations and extermination took place during World War II. During the guided visit, you will see the famous railway gate and tracks, where trains carrying deported prisoners arrived. You will walk along the remains of the barracks where prisoners were held and see the ruins of the gas chambers and crematoria destroyed by the Nazis at the end of the war. The guide will explain how the camp functioned and describe the conditions prisoners faced. Visiting Birkenau helps visitors understand the immense scale of the camp and the tragic history connected with this place.
