After arriving at Auschwitz, you will be introduced to a licensed local museum guide who will lead your group through Auschwitz I. During the guided tour, you will learn about the history of the camp and the experiences of the people imprisoned there during World War II. You will walk through the preserved brick barracks, see original prisoner blocks, historical photographs, personal belongings of the victims, and exhibitions documenting the history of the camp. You will also see the famous “Arbeit macht frei” gate, one of the most recognizable symbols of the site, as well as the last remaining gas chamber and crematorium. The guide will explain the purpose of the different buildings and provide important historical context, helping visitors understand the significance of this place in a respectful and informative way.
  • Brzezinka
After arriving at Auschwitz II–Birkenau, you will meet the same licensed museum guide who will continue the tour through the second part of the former camp complex. You will walk along the remains of the barracks where prisoners were held and see the ruins of the gas chambers and crematoria destroyed by the Nazis at the end of the war. • All entrance tickets are arranged in advance by the tour operator as part of a group reservation with the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. For this reason, ticket availability shown on the official museum website for individual visitors does not apply, as organized groups are booked from a separate ticket allocation. According to museum regulations, all tickets are personalized, and the tour operator must submit the full list of participants with their names when making the reservation. Once the list has been submitted, changes are very limited and usually only a small number of corrections can be made for the entire group. The exact entry time to the museum is assigned by the museum after the group reservation has been processed, based on availability at that moment. Because of this procedure, the originally selected tour start time may change and can be scheduled at any available visiting time on that day. For this reason, we kindly recommend not booking this tour on the day of your arrival or departure, as changes to the start time could affect your ability to participate in the tour.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
