Please meet Isa at the local market before heading to her home kitchen. DAC is located on 30 Avenida Norte Mz 34 lote 10, entre Constituyentes y Calle 22, Gonzalo Guerrero, 77710 Playa del Carmen, Q.R. After the market tour, Isa will transport you to her home kitchen.
At the beginning of class, you will meet at the local market, DAC. You will briefly discuss the day's lesson and the dishes you will be making. You will choose ONE main dish to prepare (see potential options from our sample menu). Additionally, you will make traditional salsas, guacamole (two types), corn tortillas, and a fresh beverage made from seasonal fruits. Following this discussion and tour of the market, you will walk to Isa's home kitchen to cook. Note: some dishes may have seasonal ingredients, and substitutions may be made accordingly.
