- We will enjoy snacks/starters and plenty of tapas and desserts throughout the evening. Typically this means 12 dishes, plus drinks (usually a local vermouth, wine, and cava) at each restaurant.
- We make water available at each location, and if you'd rather not consume alcohol we can order something softer for you.
- Drinks are included! Usually we drink like the locals, with a local vermouth, then wine, then cava! Whether you fancy a local wine, vermouth, cava, a beer or something softer - we've got you covered.

Meeting point
Meet in this square on Via Laietana, directly in front of the statue of Ramon Berenguer riding triumphantly on his horse. Please arrive at the meeting point 5-10 minutes before the tour starts. At the tour's start time the guide will begin – we have lots to eat and drink!

Meet in this square on Via Laietana, directly in front of the statue of Ramon Berenguer riding triumphantly on his horse. Please arrive at the meeting point 5-10 minutes before the tour starts. At the tour's start time the guide will begin – we have lots to eat and drink!
- The Gótico Food Tour starts here and takes you through Barcelona's famous Ciutat Vella (old city): past roman walls, alongside cathedrals, through precious plazas and, most importantly, in-and-out of small, local restaurants that will leave you sated, jolly and with a better understanding of local Catalan and national Spanish cuisine. (pass by)
- En route between restaurants we will pass many notable sites in the Gothic Quarter, including the "Catedral Del Mar", which was built between 1329 and 1383 and is an exceptional example of Catalan Gothic style. (pass by)
- We will also pass by some of the remnants of the Roman city wall of Barcelona (Muralla Romana), constructed largely in the 3rd century to ward off and protect from invaders. (pass by)
- The whole of our tour is centred around the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of the city of Barcelona. Its labyrinthine roads, many of which open out onto secluded squares, are now largely pedestrianised. It's an endlessly enchanting neighbourhood, and home to fantastic shops and, of course, some of the very best restaurants. (pass by)
- As we wander between restaurants we will pass through and comment briefly on some of the gorgeous streets and plazas, such as the Plaça de Sant Jaume and the Plaça Sant Just. (The exact route is determined but the mix of restaurants selected for that evening.) (pass by)
- While the focus of the tour is very much on the iconic Gothic Quarter, we often pass through a few corners of the other beautiful old parts of the Ciutat Vella (Old City): El Born and La Ribera. (pass by)
