Join your guide at Pl. de Correus, 1, next to Barcelona’s historic post office. Look out for the yellow Carpe Diem Tours flag or sign. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to start smoothly, as the tour begins right on time and refunds can’t be issued for late arrivals.

Family-owned since 1945, this bodega has been doing things the right way for generations. With just four tapas on the menu, it celebrates the simple, soulful essence of Spanish cooking. Just steps from the port, we’ll dine like sailors of old—sharing cones of crispy boquerones, tasting traditional Catalan butifarra sausage, and sipping from a porrón alongside a glass of Spanish vermouth. *Due to seasonal holidays, weekend availability, and weather conditions, we may not be able to go to this spot but we will compensate by ordering additional food at another stop or replacing this spot with another venue.*
